Launcherley occupies prime Somerset countryside between the Mendips and Somerset Levels, well-connected via the A39 to Bath and Bristol. The A361 links to Glastonbury whilst the A37 heads south through Shepton Mallet. Most journeys are local hops to Wells or surrounding villages, though longer routes typically involve the M5 via Bath or the A303 further south. The medieval market cross still stands precisely where wool merchants once conducted their weekly trade.
