Langloan forms part of Coatbridge in North Lanarkshire's former industrial heartland, about 10 miles east of Glasgow via the M8. Junction 6 at Newhouse provides direct access, whilst the A89 connects to Airdrie. The area benefits from roughly 250 public EV charging points nearby. The neighbouring Summerlee Museum houses Scotland's only working beam engine from the old ironworks.
