Lamlash sits on Arran's sheltered east coast, overlooking Lamlash Bay and Holy Island. Reach it via CalMac ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick, then 6km south on the A841. The island's circular coastal route connects all villages, with Holy Island's Tibetan Buddhist retreat centre housed in a converted lighthouse keeper's cottage.
