Lakeview is a small lakefront town of 850 people on Bull Shoals Lake in the Arkansas Ozarks. Highway 178 runs through town, connecting west to Mountain Home (15 miles) and east toward Yellville. The clear, cool waters of Bull Shoals Lake dominate the area, supporting fishing guides and marinas. The town's vintage general store has operated continuously since 1952 and remains the community's unofficial gathering spot.
