Lakeshire is a small river town of about 1,400 people located 15 miles south of St. Louis along the Mississippi River. Take I-55 south to the Ste. Genevieve exit, then head east to reach this narrow community squeezed between the river and limestone bluffs. The town operates one of the last seasonal ferry landings on this stretch of the Mississippi.
