Knollwood is a small city of about 700 people in Grayson County, 70 miles north of Dallas via US-75 and Highway 377. The main route from Sherman takes Highway 11 west to Highway 377 south, about 20 miles. North Texas Regional Airport sits right next door, a former military base that now hosts general aviation and an annual airshow.
