Knockraha

Knockraha is a small County Cork village about 15 kilometres northeast of Cork city on the N25, handy for Cork Airport. The main route continues east toward Waterford, carrying plenty of through traffic, while locals often take the R626 via Glanmire instead. You're close to Fota Island Golf Course and the Jameson Experience at Midleton for day trips. The village sits right along one of Ireland's major freight rail lines, so you'll hear container trains rumbling through regularly on their way between Cork port and destinations inland.
