Knocknahur is a small community in County Sligo, just southeast of Sligo town along the Wild Atlantic Way. The N4 from Dublin covers about 200 kilometers, while the N17 serves Galway travelers and the N15 connects through Donegal. Sligo Airport is nearby for international visitors, though most arrive by car to tour the west coast. The area has around 30 fast charging stations for electric vehicles. What sets Knocknahur apart is its proximity to Strandhill Beach, where you can watch surfers ride the powerful Atlantic swells that travel thousands of miles across open ocean.
