Knockbridge

Knockbridge sits in County Louth just 8 kilometres west of Dundalk along the R173, making it an easy day trip from anywhere in the county. Most visitors come via local roads from Dundalk, Carlingford, or other Louth towns rather than travelling long distances. The M1 from Dublin takes about 90 minutes, while the A1 connects from Belfast and Northern Ireland. The village sits in rolling countryside with views toward the Cooley Mountains, and it's become known for its excellent golf courses, including Dundalk Golf Course and Concra Wood Golf Club, which attract players from across the region.
