Kirk Ella

Kirk Ella lies just west of Hull in the East Riding, easily reached via the A164 from Hull city centre or the B1231 from the M62 at Junction 38. The village sits amongst the flat countryside typical of this part of Yorkshire, with the A1079 providing an alternative southern route. It's particularly known for All Saints Church, where medieval wall paintings were discovered during 1960s restoration work.
