Kirbuster

Scotland

Scotland

Kirbuster is a small Orkney settlement about 15 kilometres northwest of Kirkwall via the A986 from the main A965 ring road. The route passes through typical Orkney farmland toward Birsay's clifftop ruins. Local roads connect to nearby villages like Dounby and Swannay within 10 kilometres. Around 10 public EV chargers serve this part of West Mainland. The nearby Kirbuster Farm Museum houses Orkney's last surviving traditional farmhouse with its original click mill still functioning.
