Kippen is a small Stirlingshire village on the A811 between Stirling and Loch Lomond, about 45 minutes from Glasgow. The route via A809 and A811 is popular for day trips, whilst locals use the short hop to Stirling for daily needs. The village hosts an annual scarecrow festival that fills the streets with creative straw figures each autumn.
