Kiowa, OK

Kiowa is a small southeastern Oklahoma town of about 650 people, located along State Highway 2 between McAlester and Wilburton. Most visitors arrive via US Highway 69 to the west, then take Highway 2 east for about 15 miles. The town sits in rolling hill country typical of the region and features one of Oklahoma's few remaining original WPA community buildings from the 1930s.
