Kingsdown is a small Kent village between Sittingbourne and Faversham, reached via the A2 and A249 from London or the A251 from Canterbury. The surrounding countryside features the rolling chalk hills typical of the Kent Downs, with orchards and traditional hop gardens. Several historic oast houses remain visible around the village.
