Kimball, TN

Kimball is a small mountain town of about 1,600 people in southeastern Tennessee, sitting along Interstate 24 about 45 miles northwest of Chattanooga. Exit 152 provides direct access, while State Route 28 connects north-south to other plateau communities. The town sits in a valley where the Cumberland Plateau descends toward the Tennessee River, near Marion County Airport. Kimball is known for "The Blue Hole," an unusual sinkhole that maintains constant temperatures year-round.
