Kiltyclogher sits quietly in County Leitrim along the Drowes River valley, just shy of the Donegal border. The village connects via the R280, with access from the N4 through Manorhamilton or from Donegal town via the N15 and R231 through Ballyshannon. It's handy for exploring the northwest coast, with Bundoran and its attractions nearby. The village is famous as the birthplace of Sean MacDiarmada, one of the 1916 Easter Rising leaders, and there's a heritage center dedicated to his story and the independence movement.
