Kiltimagh sits right on the N17 between Galway and Sligo, making it a handy stop for anyone crossing Mayo. The town's perfectly placed for getting around the west, with Dublin three hours up the road, Galway an hour south, and Castlebar half an hour away. Ireland West Airport at Knock is only 15 kilometers southeast if you're flying in. The old railway viaduct still arches over the main street, so you'll drive straight under the stone arches where trains used to run to Westport.
