Kilmore Quay

Kilmore Quay is a working fishing village on County Wexford's southeastern coast, easily reached from Dublin via the M11/N11 or from Cork and Waterford on the N25. From Wexford town, take the R739 for a lovely 22-kilometer drive through the countryside. The village revolves around its active harbor, where traditional fishing boats still work from Victorian-era stone quays. These weathered limestone piers jutting into the natural harbor create the distinctive profile that gives the place its name and enduring character.
