Kilmeena

Kilmeena is a small Mayo village sitting between Westport and Clew Bay, about 8 kilometres north of Westport town along the R335. It's handy for exploring this bit of the Wild Atlantic Way, with decent electric charging options around Westport for those with EVs. The big draw here is The Wild Atlantic Sauna, a floating sauna out on Clew Bay where you can have a proper Finnish sweat while looking out at the bay's famous collection of islands. It's grand countryside around here, with easy access to Westport's shops and facilities.
