Kilmacthomas is a handy market town on the N25 between Cork and Waterford, about 15 kilometres northwest of Waterford city. The town sits right along the famous Waterford Greenway, a 46-kilometre walking and cycling trail that follows the old railway line to Mallow. You'll find the restored Victorian station in the town centre, now home to a café and visitor centre for greenway users. With around 25 public fast chargers available, it's a grand spot for electric vehicle drivers to stop on longer journeys along the Cork-Waterford corridor.
