Killorglin

Killorglin sits perfectly on the Ring of Kerry route in County Kerry, making it a grand base for exploring the southwest. The town is 22 kilometers west of Killarney and 26 kilometers south of Tralee, well connected by the N70 and N72. It's handy for day trips or longer journeys from Cork (108 kilometers southeast) or Portlaoise (225 kilometers northeast). There's decent electric vehicle charging with about 11 fast stations in the area. Every August, the town goes mad for Puck Fair, crowning a wild mountain goat as king and hoisting him above the main square for three days of proper craic.
