Kildary is a Highland village on the A9, about 40 miles north of Inverness. It's handy for accessing the Black Isle via the B9165 and has decent EV charging facilities for Highland touring. The village sits in gentle Easter Ross farmland near the Dornoch Firth and houses a restored blacksmith's workshop that's now a heritage center.
