Kilchrenan

Kilchrenan is a small Highland village on the shores of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute. Reach it via the A85 from Oban (25km northwest) or from Glasgow via the A82 and A85 (two hours). The village sits amongst ancient oak woodlands and offers access to Scotland's longest freshwater loch. The 19th-century Ardanaiseig Hotel, a former baronial mansion, overlooks the water.
