Kilchoan, Argyll and Bute

Kilchoan is a small coastal village on the Kintyre Peninsula, not far from the ferry terminal for Mull crossings. The A83 provides the main access route via Lochgilphead, with the final stretch following the A8001 along the peninsula. It's about two hours from Glasgow through some wonderfully scenic Highland countryside, though the roads can be quite narrow and winding. The village is best known for its ferry connection to Tobermory, offering the shortest mainland-to-Mull crossing at just 35 minutes.
