Kenovay sits on Tiree's western edge in the Inner Hebrides, reached only by ferry from Oban or flights via the nearby airport. The island's single-track roads connect scattered crofting communities across this famously wind-swept but surprisingly sunny Atlantic outpost, which records some of Scotland's highest sunshine hours despite frequent storms.
