Kenefic, OK

Kenefic is a tiny Bryan County town of 170 people in southeastern Oklahoma, about 15 miles northeast of Durant via State Highway 22. Most visitors arrive from US Highway 69, the main north-south route connecting Oklahoma City to Texas. The town sits in the rolling Ouachita foothills and notably operates its own municipal water system, rare for such a small Oklahoma community.
