Kells forms part of Whitehaven's suburban spread along Cumbria's Irish Sea coast. The A595 connects it to the wider West Cumbrian network, whilst the M6 to A66 to A595 route brings visitors from further afield through some of Lake District's finest scenery. With about 18 fast charging points nearby, it's well-sorted for electric cars. The area sits on the Whitehaven Coal Mining Heritage Trail, marking the region's industrial past.
