Kellingley

Kellingley is a former mining village in North Yorkshire, positioned on flat countryside near the River Aire. Access via M62 Junction 34 through Knottingley, or A1(M) Junction 42 from Selby. The A645 runs directly through the village, connecting to Eggborough and local communities. Around 70 EV charging points serve the area. The preserved headframe from Kellingley Colliery, Britain's last deep coal mine until 2015, towers over the landscape as a striking industrial monument.
