Jacobstow is a small Cornish village about 15 kilometres inland from Bude, accessible via the A39 and B3254. The area features typical rolling farmland with ancient field patterns, connected by narrow lanes to neighbouring hamlets like Wainhouse Corner and Poundstock. Long-distance visitors usually arrive via the A30 then A39, whilst locals use the quieter country roads. The village boasts an unusual holy well carved into rock beside its parish church.
