Isando, just off the R21 and N12 east of Joburg, is your typical East Rand industrial town, all warehouses and factories, with OR Tambo International only 13 km up the road, handy if you're catching a flight. Locals nip through to Kempton Park, Edenvale, and Germiston for daily business, while others pass through en route to KZN or North West.
