Iron City, GA

Iron City is a small farming town of 371 people in southwest Georgia, right near the Florida border. Take Highway 97 to get there, connecting from Bainbridge to the north or crossing into Florida to the south. Most locals drive to Donalsonville for services, while longer trips head to Tallahassee. The town got its name from the iron-rich red clay soil that turns rust-colored after it rains.
