Inverchapel is a small village on Loch Long in the Cowal Peninsula, reached via the scenic A815 from Dunoon. The road offers lovely views as it winds north past Holy Loch, connecting to the A83 for journeys from Glasgow. You'll find the curious ruins of Rosneath Castle's ornate 18th-century bathhouse visible across the loch.
