Innishannon

Ireland

Ireland

Innishannon is a small town on the Bandon River about 30 kilometres southwest of Cork city, reached via the N71 through Bandon. The town's centrepiece is an elegant five-arch limestone bridge from the 18th century that spans the river with graceful arches framing the water as it flows toward Kinsale. It's a handy inland stop for those touring between Kinsale and Clonakilty on the Wild Atlantic Way, with good electric vehicle charging coverage throughout West Cork and decent connections from Cork Airport in about 45 minutes.
