Indio is a desert city in Riverside County, about two hours east of LA via Interstate 10. It's the gateway to the Coachella Valley, connected by I-10 and Highway 111. The area has solid EV charging along major routes, important for desert travel. Palm trees and date groves dot the landscape against the Santa Rosa Mountains. Every spring, Indio becomes the center of the music world when it hosts the legendary Coachella festival at the Empire Polo Club.
