Worcester straddles the River Severn in Worcestershire, serving as a key junction for Midlands traffic. The M5 passes directly by the city with junctions 6 and 7 offering quick access, whilst the A44, A449, and A38 radiate outward to surrounding counties. The A4440 southern bypass handles much local traffic, and there are roughly 70 EV charging points scattered about the area. Worcester Cathedral contains King John's tomb, making it the only cathedral outside London or Windsor to house a monarch's remains.
