Winceby

Winceby is a small Lincolnshire village about 30km southeast of Lincoln, reached via the A158 and minor roads near Hagworthingham. The area sits in the gentle Wolds countryside, close to RAF Coningsby with its regular military aircraft activity. Electric vehicle drivers will find roughly ten fast chargers in nearby towns. The village is famous for the 1643 Battle of Winceby, where Oliver Cromwell's cavalry helped secure a crucial Parliamentary victory during the English Civil War.
