Waycross, GA

Waycross is a small Georgia city at the crossroads of US Highways 1 and 82, about 25 miles east of I-75. Once a major railroad hub, it now serves travelers heading to the Okefenokee Swamp or Florida. The downtown area retains some historic railroad buildings, while the surrounding area is mostly pine forest. You can't miss the giant Coca-Cola water tower that towers over the highways.
