Vidor, TX

Vidor is a small East Texas city of about 10,000 people located 10 miles northwest of Beaumont on Interstate 10. The main access is via I-10, which connects to Houston (90 miles west) and Lake Charles (30 miles east), while Highway 12 runs north-south through town. The city sits in pine forest country with a humid climate and gained national attention in the 1990s as one of Texas's last all-white communities.
