Upper Hardres
England
Upper Hardres is a small Kentish village perched on the downs about 8km southwest of Canterbury. Reach it via country lanes from the A2 or through Canterbury itself, with the M2 providing longer-distance access. The surrounding chalk hills and farmland are quintessentially East Kent, and there are over 100 EV charging points around Canterbury for electric vehicles. The medieval church of St Peter and St Paul contains a remarkably preserved 15th-century rood screen.
