Tulare sits along Highway 99 in California's Central Valley, about 40 miles southeast of Fresno. Most visitors arrive via SR-99 or take Highway 198 east toward Sequoia National Park. The city serves as an agricultural hub with dairy farms and orchards throughout the surrounding valley.
