Tom Bean is a small Texas town of about 800 people located on US Highway 11, roughly 60 miles northeast of Dallas and 15 miles from Sherman. The community serves as a quiet waypoint along routes between Dallas and southeastern Oklahoma. Visitors typically arrive via US 11 from Sherman or take Highway 121 from the south through rolling North Texas farmland.
