Tolar, TX

Tolar is a small Hood County community about 45 miles southwest of Fort Worth, accessible via US 377 from Granbury or Interstate 20 to local connecting roads. The town of 1,600 sits in the scenic transition zone where Texas Hill Country meets the North Central Plains. Most visitors arrive via Weatherford and US 180 or follow State Highway 51 from the east. The area preserves remnants of the historic Chisholm Trail that once passed through this region.
