About Tinryland

Tinryland is a handy little spot in County Carlow, right on the N80 about 8 kilometers from Carlow town. It's grand for getting about, whether you're heading north to Dublin via the M9 or south toward Bunclody and the border counties. The village sits where the N80 crosses the River Slaney, and you'll spot the old stone bridge that marks the traditional ford crossing that gave the place its name. There's decent golf courses nearby at Bunclody and Mount Wolseley, plus plenty of fast chargers for electric cars if you're doing longer trips.
