The Pludds
England
The Pludds lies deep in the Forest of Dean, reached via the A4136 from Ross-on-Wye or Monmouth, then minor roads through Ruardean. Most visitors come locally from Gloucester or the Wye Valley on narrow lanes shared with forestry lorries. The village preserves one of the last speakers of traditional Forest dialect, where "batch" still means a small hill.
Airports closest to The Pludds are Gloucestershire Airport and Cotswold Airport.
