Sutton Bridge straddles the River Nene where Lincolnshire meets Norfolk, reached via the A17 from King's Lynn or Spalding. This Fenland crossing point connects to the A1101 south into Norfolk and serves scattered farming communities via quiet B-roads. The Victorian swing bridge still operates daily, opening for river traffic heading to Wisbech docks.
