Stranorlar sits in County Donegal's Finn Valley, forming the Twin Towns with Ballybofey across the River Finn. The N15 runs straight through, connecting to Letterkenny 30km north and Dublin 250km south, while the R263 heads east to the Northern Ireland border at Lifford. It's a handy stop for cross-border traffic heading to Derry, about 45km away.
