3About Stoke
Stoke forms part of Ipswich's eastern suburbs, easily reached via the A14 which connects Cambridge to Felixstowe port. Most visitors use the A14 from the west or A12/A14 from London, whilst locals nip between Ipswich's various districts on shorter routes. The area's claim to fame is Broomhill Pool, a former gravel working now famous amongst carp anglers for specimen fish exceeding 20 pounds.
