Stickney lies in Lincolnshire's fenland, connected by the A16 between Boston and Skegness, with the B1184 running east-west through the centre. The flat agricultural landscape reflects centuries of land reclamation, whilst RAF Coningsby nearby houses the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The town sits at the junction of several ancient drove roads once used for moving livestock across the fens.
