Smoo

Smoo is a tiny coastal settlement in Sutherland, reached via the A99 from Thurso or as part of the North Coast 500. The village sits near dramatic limestone cliffs where the Atlantic meets Scotland's far northwest corner. Smoo Cave features Britain's largest sea cave entrance, with an underground waterfall where the Allt Smoo river drops 80 feet through the cavern roof.
