Skipsea

Skipsea perches on Yorkshire's eroding coastline, reached via the A165 from Bridlington or through Hornsea on quieter country roads. The village occupies dramatic clifftops where a Norman castle once stood before coastal erosion claimed most of the medieval settlement, leaving only an impressive earthwork mound.
